How Biblical is your Worldview?

The definitions of "worldview" according to Dictionary.com are:
1. The overall perspective from which one sees and interprets the world.
2. A collection of beliefs about life and the universe held by an individual or a group.

So what is the perspective from which you see and interpret the world around you?

For those of us who claim to be Christian, our belief in the Bible as God's Word should shape our worldview more than anything else.

On March 4 & 11 our Sunday morning Bible study discussions in the college class will center around our worldview and the matter of how Biblical it is (or isn't).

To help you analyze your worldview, take about 25 minutes to respond to the 88 statements on this online worldview test. The test contains statements in the areas of law, economics, civil government, religion, social issues, sociology (family issues), education and science. For each statement you'll select whether you strongly agree, tend to agree, tend to disagree, strongly disagree or have no opinion. Upon completion you'll be given a score that ranges from Strongly Biblical to Moderately Biblical to Secular Humanist to Socialist to Communist/Marxist/Socialist/Secular Humanist. It will be interesting to see where you score on the author's scale. We may do this annually in the college class to see if and in what direction we move along the scale.

So take the online worldview test, print the results and bring them with you to Bible study on March 4 & 11 for what should be an interesting and worthwhile discussion.
