Event Calendar - April 5, 2008

Things coming up for the college ministry... plug in where you can.

Beginning in April we will study each Sunday morning in Bible study the Gospel of Matthew. We'll start with chapter 8 since we did chapters 1-7 last summer and will continue for a few months. Join us weekly in Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. We are located on the 4th floor of the Main building at Walnut Street at the corner of Third & St. Catherine in downtown Louisville.

Join us for Wednesday night dinner in the church dining room each week. The full, catered meal is served between 5:00-5:45pm and costs college students just $3. Make a one-time or standing reservation by calling the church office at 589-5290 by noon Tuesday.

Meet us in the Welcome Center at church after the morning worship the first Sunday of each month and we'll go to some local restaurant for a $3 lunch. Wherever we go, your cost is just $3 and our college budget pays the rest.

Study of Matthew April - ??

Last summer we walked our way through the Gospel of Matthew's first seven chapters, ending with the Sermon on the Mount. Beginning in April we will pick up where we left off and return to Matthew starting with chapter 8. The Bible is our text, but we invite you to study additional sources such as commentaries along the way to help us gain the most from our in-depth look at this great book. All class members have been given a MacArthur Study Bible, New American Standard Version, and are encouraged to read the many helpful notes on every page of Matthew. You will learn so much by doing so!
